This is not a Template Post??

  
  Yeah, so Ive realised Im never gonna get over the whole blank-website-what-do-I-put-here thing at this rate, and will tend towards infinite tinkering.
  
  This is, of course, no good. So heres me writing about the last wave of changes to the site, mostly for the sake of putting something here.
  
  Initially, I wanted to style this website in some way related to my username - I figured blues, maybe some white shades that remind of the titlular rainy skies. The initial concept, two months ago when I began doing this site,  was gonna be a pixelart background, cityscape. Had to be super detailed of course - cant have an ugly background. After a few hours resulted in a tiny thumbnail of it being done, I realised that I dont have the patience rn. Following this, an ugly abstract kalidescope pattern thingy was the background.
  
  After I took a break for a few months and came back I realised the colours, the background, everything, wasnt to my liking. Instead I figured I would just try making a tiling background and work off of that. I did about ten patterns before settling on the one I have now. I found straight lines, some shapes, and the  eyeball kinda ended up in a nice combination of organic shapes but cohesion, idk. It does look a bit like wallpaper, but that isnt entirely unintended.
  
  I also switched over to these kinda "reddish-purple scroll gold" colour vibes, to try and describe the intention with some word salad. Id say Im happy with it, but truth be told Ill need to wait and see what my opinion is tommorow with a fresh pair of eyes:)
  
  Also found a neat font. This site has a ton of quite beautiful ones: https://open-foundry.com/fonts. I do say that as someone who doesnt really know what hes doing though, so perhaps Im not using a good one - again, current me is happy with it though :D Reminds a bit of older books.
  
  I would like to change the header, my own name Rainysky, to something nicer though. I think the title bit should be a png or something - still text but something _fancy_. I will also update the footers and the like. The other big change needs to be the landing page; right now its just a bunch of lorem ipsum type stuff that needs to be gotten rid of. Might be nice to add some contact details somewhere too. 
  
  Then onto the content, I suppose? Despite having a meme section I dont think I want to put anything there, maybe Ill remove it. Books I could try use: Ive noticed I tend to forget a significant portion of the stuff I read, so writing something about them might help solidify things. The other thing is games, which I have mixed feelings about due to playing too many of em. Theres some cool or interesting stuff - Ive been doing a ck2-eu4-vic2 megacampaign where Ive modded a bunch of stuff in to make the game flow better, and while kinda useless id love to show it off B). In terms of blog? not a clue what to put here. We shall see. I do want this website to not lie here rotting forever though.
